Asian Star Radio wins its 3^rd REGIONAL RADIO STATION OF THE YEAR 2018/19 on Thursday 24^th October picking up a prize at a prestigious awards gala evening hosted by The Asian Media Awards Hilton Deansgate Manchester, where a star-studded line up of speakers, guests from the world of Television, Radio, Digital and Print Media had gathered in their hundreds to grace the occasion hosted by ITV News presenter Nina Hossain. Asian Star Radio won its 3^rd Regional Radio Station Of The Year Award again this year beating of stiff competition from across the UK, the Slough based radio station has now an accolade of awards under its belt, proud owners Ray & Sbba Siddique were delighted and overwhelmed and MD Ray C said “I couldn’t believe my ears when the winner was announced in our category and Asian Stars’ name was mentioned, stifling with excitement we went up to collect the award, this is a real achievement for the station and another feather to the hat, just goes to show the stations output after being judged by media executives from the UK media including ITV, Sky BBC that Asian Star Radio a Slough based company is really flying the flag high for Slough on the airwaves with an exemplary sound”.

Being Slough’s only and official radio station the senior management team at Asian Star 101.6FM are proud to announce that their work has been recognised by the Asian Media Awards for a third time.

Asian Star Radio broadcasts from the heart of Slough and is going from strength to strength with listener numbers increasing daily and not only from the Asian sector but from other nationalities too who listen to some of the stations specialist shows and local information, Asian Star broadcasts specialist programmes which would appeal to all audiences such as medical hour with a live GP to hand in the studio available to answer questions right the way through to lawyers giving free advice on the radio, the station is bringing in listeners from all backgrounds.

Asian Star Radio is made up of its professional team of presenters, dedicated staff and volunteers all committed in delivering a professional output giving Asian Star record high listener figures.
